The notebook features a Wireless Lan card that works great and picks up even fairly weak signals, a normal RJ network conncetion, a modem, several audio plugs, a card reader, a PCMCIA slot, firewire and infrared conncetions, so you can plug in anything, be it a camcorder or digital camera, or a simple SD MMC card. However, it is a great product for students, casual-hardcore gamers, and power users. If you can overlook all the mentioned disadvantages as I have, I would fully and sincerely recommend this product. Even the ASUS logo looks classy, and all the buttons, touchpad etc are very well made and fitted. It also has horizontal and vertical scrolling.

Also, the chassis is made of tough yet light carbon-fiber material which would withstand most bumps. Be prepared to fork out extra for a better carrier. It is overall well-designed. Excellent in my opinion, a Logitech product. They did not have a better deal during a recent PC show here, so I figured the price is more or asuus fixed and went to bargain for freebies with the retailer instead.
I cannot be more pleased. The DVD drive is fairly noisy as well, but it revs down as soon as it is not needed. It is a poor design to lump the USB ports together, which means no easy access for thumbdrives and such. Using the controls located at the front, you can pop in a CD and play instantly while saving on battery.

The integrated webcam was also pivotal in my choice of notebook. The hard drive is the major let down for the A6KT. Heavy Too hot for lap use, and warm around palm area as well Extremely hot adapter Keys, buttons, and screen may be too firm for some Clustering of USB ports Poor ASUS software for controlling webcam and shortcut keys Poor battery life No security features No expresscard slot To summarize, the A6q000vm is not a business notebook asuw touted, except for its looks.
The screen is a Transflective TFT, bright and clear with no dead pixels, looks like a job well done. The symbols on them are clear and white, and positioned in the upper and lower left corner of the keys for primary and seconday functions and upper right for tertiary functions. Heat a6q00vmm not an issue so far.
With decent headphones though, this machine sounds above average. You can see that outdoors the screen acts like a mirror due to it being a glossy screen view large image. The first thing I checked was the quality of the plastics, which turned out to be pretty good. It is widescreen, which is perfect for DVDs and opening multiple windows side by side no sweat for the Duo Core processor. The 1 MB L2 cache that comes with this processor is quite helpful and so the CPU does manage to gain, clock for clock, a considerable lead ahead of its desktop counterpart, the last generation pin Athlon64 single core chips.

My verdict is that while it does sound pretty good and the 3D effect gizmo impressed me a bit, the speakers are still laptop speakers at heart, a little tinny and unimposing.
The battery is an 8-cell Li-Ion acumulator.
First, the Super PI 2m digits result. The card can run anything you can currently throw at it including games that require Shader Model 3.
There is Bluetooth available as wsus, adding to the wealth of connectivity options. I would have though an Expresscard slot would be more appropriate, but as I personally see no use for expansion currently, it is not an issue. A battery calibration did make a significant change, now having a total lifetime of 2h minutes depending on how the notebook is used.
Asus A6 Notebook Review
What first struck me looking at this laptop was its sweet price to performance ratio. It is an extremely sturdy aaus of hardware and I am totally pleased with it. The color is a very dark grey and it makes the keyboard look somehow less sober than a black one would.
